_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The `Prestige' data frame has 102 rows and 6 columns.
 The
     observations are occupations.

     data(Prestige)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     _e_d_u_c_a_t_i_o_n Average education of occupational incumbents, years, in
          1971. 
 

     _i_n_c_o_m_e Average income of incumbents, dollars, in 1971.
 

     _w_o_m_e_n Percentage of incumbents who are women.
 

     _p_r_e_s_t_i_g_e Pineo-Porter prestige score for occupation, from a social
          survey
 conducted in the mid-1960s.
 

     _c_e_n_s_u_s Canadian Census occupational code.
 

     _t_y_p_e Type of occupation.
 A factor with levels (note: out of
          order):
 `bc', Blue Collar;
 `prof', Professional,
          Managerial, and Technical;
 `wc', White Collar.
